ABOUT The Global Past

I created The Global Past while completing my MA in History at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia. Initially, I designed this site to house collections of digital projects that could be used by instructors and students at the secondary and university levels in their coursework and studies. The first major digital project, "A Maritime History of the Ancient World" is live. This module was intended for High School teachers and students, but don't worry more modules will be added for the secondary and university levels. Furthermore, older modules will be periodically updated to improve the user interface, content, and structure. Your feedback is invaluable for this process. Please consider reviewing our materials using our Resource Feedback Form.
